Hayley joined thedatabank, gbc in March 2015 after moving to Minnesota from Texas. Prior to joining thedatabank, she worked for several nonprofits in fundraising and leadership support. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Baylor University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, trying new restaurants, shopping and spending time with her friends and family – she is working on adding snow shoveling to this list.
Get to know Hayley a little better:
Why is working at a social impact-based company important to you?
It is important to me to know that the work I do is contributing to the greater benefit of my community. It’s an added bonus to work for a company that shares and promotes that same value. thedatabank works with so many amazing organizations, and I am glad I can be a small part of making their job easier so they can have a bigger impact on the communities they serve.
How do you spend your free time – when you have it?
I like to spend my free time with my friends and family. My husband and I are also really into live sports and music, so we try to go to a game or show whenever we get a chance.
What’s on your playlist while you’re at work?
While working, I prefer mellow music that’s not too distracting. Avett Brothers, Fleet Foxes, The National, Local Natives, etc.
What does your perfect Saturday morning look like?
Sleeping in, followed by a trip to the dog park with my black lab, Mabel.
