Stress Reduction Course
This course will teach the practice of mindfulness meditation (present moment, nonjudgmental awareness) and its application to stress reduction, self-reflection and the mobilization of inner resources to support health, healing, spiritual and personal growth. Participants will experience guidance in mindfulness meditation skills, mindful yoga practice and group dialogue. Course is 8 weeks of 2 hour classes.
The course is facilitated by Mark Dannenfelser, MA, LPC
Mark is founding director of the Mindfulness Center of Atlanta where he teaches Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cancer Care. He is a licensed professional counselor in private practice and an adjunct lecturer in the graduate theology program at Spring Hill College. Mark is a certified spiritual director, a registered yoga teacher, and a Contemplative Outreach commissioned presenter of the Centering Prayer method.
There will be 2 MBSR courses offered in 2014:

Cost: $350 for 8 classes, home guidance recordings and handouts
