Guest Author Steve Givens: “Embraced by God: Facing Chemotherapy with Faith”

"Take Lord, Receive,” a weekend retreat for those with cancer or other chronic diseases and for those who love and care for them. The retreat will offer presentations and guided prayer experiences by writer and spiritual director Steve Givens, author of “Embraced by God: Facing Chemotherapy with Faith,” as well as opportunities for quiet prayer, journaling, and sharing with other participants. 

 Mass, Reconciliation and Spiritual Direction are offered daily.

Check-in Friday between 5 & 6 pm. A reception is held to welcome you and dinner is served at 7 pm. The weekend ends after the noon meal on Sunday.

What does it cost to attend the retreat?
$300

What is included in your cost: A private room with a private bath, your linens and towels are provided.  Delicious meals along with snacks, beverages and coffee are provided. Should you have specific dietary needs please contact us at the time of reservations.
