Sound and Sensible Organics in Fort Valley, GA NCAT’s Gulf States office, in partnership with Quality Certification Services (QCS) of Gainesville, Florida, is offering a series of workshops about organic certification for producers in the Gulf States region. Two workshops are slated for Georgia, with the first one set for Thursday, January 29, 2015, in Fort Valley. The workshop is intended to enlist new farmers and ranchers and help them learn how to become National Organic Program (NOP)-certified. It will provide information and expertise to farmers interested in NOP and answer questions regarding organic farm practices and NOP certification. There is no fee for the day-long event and lunch will be provided. You can register for the workshop below.
