Sound and Sensible Organics in Mobile, Alabama

NCAT’s Gulf States office, in partnership with Quality Certification Services (QCS) of Gainesville, Florida, is offering a series of workshops about organic certification for producers in the Gulf States region. The workshop in Mobile, Alabama, is set for Tuesday, January 13, 2015, immediately preceding the Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Group (SSAWG) annual conference.

The workshop is intended to enlist new farmers and ranchers and help them learn how to become National Organic Program (NOP)-certified.  It will provide information and expertise to farmers interested in NOP and answer questions regarding organic farm practices and NOP certification.

There is no fee for the day-long event and lunch will be provided.  You can register for the workshop below.
