Sound and Sensible Organics Part II in Atlanta, GA

NCAT’s Gulf States office, in partnership with Quality Certification Services (QCS) of Gainesville, Florida, is continuing the workshop series about organic certification for producers in the Gulf States region. This second part of the workshop series will include mock organic certification inspections.

This training is designed to help farmers understand what types of records and information are required during an inspection of an organic farm, as well as the ways inspectors verify that all applicable farm activities are in compliance with the national organic standards. Truly Living Well and Wheat Street Garden in Atlanta, GA, will be our host for this workshop.
