Central Montana Farm to School Workshop
This workshop will feature training on how to use Harvest of the Month to promote Montana grown and raised foods in your community, interactive agricultural education activities, local procurement, and what resources are available to you. Attendees will get to hear from the ranchers and school staff members who created Winnett’s super successful beef to school program. Along with trainings and presentations, there will be time for networking and taste testing local foods. Lunch will be provided. Anyone interested in increasing opportunities for nutritious, Montana-grown food in their community is invited to attend this event. Six Continuing Education Units and six Early Childhood Project credits will be offered for educators. Registration costs include lunch, snacks, and coffee.
