New American Day on the Hill is TIRRC's annual lobby day at the state capitol where immigrant and refugees can meet directly with several state legislators to share their experiences of immigrating to Tennessee, to build lasting relationships, and to meaningfully affect policy that impacts the immigrant community. Participants receive training on how our state government operates and the opportunities to participate in informed policymaking.
