Emerging Media Workshop with @ChrisCloud - March focus topic: Instagram - Pre-registration required What's Tumblr? Do I need to get a SnapChat? Why is Facebook asking me to boost posts?
These questions and more will be explored at the Emerging Media Workshop with @ChrisCloud -- a monthly workshop designed to help you navigate your way through the online frontier of social networks and platforms. #EMworkshop will help you cultivate the communities you want to grow for your nonprofit, small business, and/or personal projects.
Emerging Media Workshops are held on the second Thursday of every month from 6 to 8 p.m. Each workshop will have a different area of focus -- from Snapchat to Pinterest! Workshops start with an overview of the topic followed by a related exercise. The last half will open up to discussion about any emerging media topics or questions you might have.
March's focus topic for the Emerging Media Workshop is Instagram!
We emphasize interaction and the exchange of knowledge between participants. Because of this, space is VERY limited! We ask participants to pre-register so as to guarantee that space will be available. There is a sliding scale of participation fees. Participation is free for all Daily Planet advertisers, writers, and interns. Contact Bruce Johansen to request a scholarship:brucejohansen@tcdailyplanet.net
Bring your laptop—wi-fi is available.
