In addition to "Karen's Blog" in our monthly newsletter, thedatabank now has an official blog. This blog was designed to keep clients up to date on the latest product changes, help people get to know our staff in a more personal way, collect feedback on issues and ideas, and educate folks via expert guest bloggers and article links. Ten eMail Templates Free 4/1/08

Make your e-news more compelling, by using a carefully designed, customizable email template in PowerMail.  We have 10 new templates for users of thedatabank's eMarketing Module.  All were designed to be friendly for a variety of browsers and email programs, including Outlook 2007.  They also showcase what can be done with our simple HTML editor: all were created from scratch, within PowerMail, by a non-technical person.  These ten templates will be made available to all new eMarketing Module clients, at no charge.  Existing users can get the template(s) of their choice for free, just by sending a support request indicating which ones you want.  Click to see a gallery of templates.

Password Strength Indicator added to the Databank

thedatabank has added a new way to ensure your data stays secure. If the password you are currently using is weak, a password strength indicator will appear on your Welcome page . If your password is strong, nothing will look any different. The password strength indicator is also on the Change Password page, along with a button to generate a suggested strong password. Please remember that if multiple people are using the same user name, you will need to notify them if you change the password.

Product Upgrades

New Pledge Search Feature
Our new Pledge Search increases your capability to select donors based on their pledges.  Search on pledge dates, amounts, campaigns, or any other pledge data.  The new search will be released Friday (4/18) and will be found under your Search Menu, for clients using the Fundraising Module.

New Download Features: Download Pledges and Relationships
The Download tool in the Databank has been expanded to include Pledges and Relationships as linked tables. This gives users more flexibility in exporting pledge data for reminder letters, or creating their own custom reports.

RSS Feed Available for Meetings & Events Calendar
Our online calendar now features an RSS feed.  What does this mean? RSS lets you pull content from one or more web sites, into another site, and have it updated in real time...( more )

An RSS feed is also available for Action Alerts.  Encourage your super-wonky members to subscribe, or embed the feed into other pages...( more )
