Enhanced e-Marketing Module makes PowerMail even more powerful

January 18, 2007

Minneapolis , MN - Clients who use thedatabank's e-Marketing module for sending PowerMails are about to see a significant improvement in their ability to track the success rate of their bulk emails.

thedatabank announced today that they have enhanced their PowerMail program, making it even easier for clients to track recipients' interest in emails sent to them. Specifically, clients can now track email open rates, compare results for different recipient batches, and schedule messages to be sent.

Want to find out which topics interest an individual member? Look at their Open Rates on their contact record. How about which topics certain groups of recipients (for example high dollar donors versus low dollar donors) respond to most? You can compare results for different recipient batches with the click of a button by selecting a batch of recipients and then using, in this case, a Contribution search to see if they responded. Have a newsletter you want to send out when you are away from your desk? Schedule your PowerMail to be sent at a specified time right on the Publish page.

All of these features allow organizations to get a clearer picture of whom and how many of their recipients are opening the emails they receive in their inbox. Having a better idea of which subjects people tend to respond to most can help organizations better tailor their PowerMails.

Since 1998, thedatabank has been helping nonprofits and political organizations change the world through its high performance, easy to use, affordable technology. thedatabank offers web-based software applications for database management and communications.
