Tip du Jour
Saved Search is purr-fect
Saved Search can save you lots of time on queries that you perform frequently. For example, use NEW Search > Conributions to select your major donors based on giving amounts, date range and/or campaign. Save that search as "major donors" and next time all you have to do is replay it.

The newsletter takes a cat nap...and another cool cat joins thedatabank team
I'm back from maternity leave, and the newsletter is back too! It's been a fun three months with my baby - see picture to the right - but it's nice to spend some time with adults too.
While I was gone, I received over 15,000 new emails - though it went down to about 8,105 after the spam filter did its magic.
In other news, we also hired a new sales representative, Bridget Kelly, in February.
Prior to coming on board at thedatabank, Bridget worked for over 15 years in nonprofit development and special event management. In her younger years she had experience in the health and wellness field - working as a diet technician, fitness center staff and weight loss counselor. Bridget grew up in Minnesota, and has also lived in Taipei, Taiwan, where she was a Kindergarten teacher, and Portland, Oregon. She enjoys running, disco music, happy hour with friends and cooking and sewing when she has time. Bridget and her husband are the proud and lucky parents of three boys; proud because the boys are wonderful people, and lucky because Bridget survived having them all in less than three years!
Bridget, Sue and I share an office area and Bridget has started calling us Charlie's Angels. We are still arguing about who is Sabrina and who is Kelly - I am obviously Jill - but me tell you, all three of us are dripping with glamor. And don't get catty with us - Sue's kung fu kick will knock you out.
