Over the years, many new customers have come to thedatabank because our existing clients recommended us.  We would like to encourage you to spread the word and share the love, by offering an incentive for qualified referrals.  If you are a current client of thedatabank, watch your mail for information on our Client Referral Program.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to the following organizations:

• The Federation of State Conservation Voter Leagues has signed on with thedatabank.  Nine states are expected to launch their action alert systems on February 15. ( more ) 
• The California Unitarian Universalist Legislative Ministry, a new faith-based social justice organization, has selected thedatabank to provide an advocacy and member management system.

Making time to show you care

I have always loved hand-made valentines.  Each year, ever since I was old enough to hold a crayon, I have created them for the special people in my life.  Giving my loved ones something unique that comes from the heart is a way of affirming and nurturing our relationship.

In January, I had the privilege of attending Camp Wellstone.  I learned that one of the keys to Paul Wellstone's 1990 election as MN Senator, against all odds, was a fantastic grassroots field operation.  Not only did he personally connect with many citizens, he also multiplied his efforts through legions of volunteers.  The message was unique, and straight from the heart...you could say it was like a hand-made valentine.
