New Pledge Editing Form

As part of the Fundraising Software Module, there is a new form in The Databank for editing pledge schedules. Here are some highlights:

  • This new form gives clients the option of auto-renewing pledges for a year at a time by setting the renewal date and checking the "autorenew" box. This will add another year of payments (twelve if monthly; four if quarterly, etc.) to the end of the pledge schedule on the renewal date.
  • For clients who have the "autopay" option turned on, an "autopay" checkbox is available for all pledges that were created by posting a web payment.
  • Note: autopay is currently available only for clients who use Authorize.net or Fast Charge payment gateways.

Vanco Credit Card Processing Update

The update makes payment authorization a real-time process. Most of the changes are beneath the surface and have little impact on how you process transactions. Vanco required these changes of us, as they will be retiring their old system.
