HTK Plea for Volunteers...
As you know, we are gearing up for our largest FLL season ever! With over 500 MN Teams, 15 Regional Tournaments, a 72-team Minneapolis Public Schools Tournament and one huge State Championship, WE NEED YOU! Please consider becoming an HTK volunteer or pass this along to someone that would!
Volunteer Training You will only need to attend ONE, so choose the date that works and feel free to bring a friend. We do require a background check, but we make it easy! At our training events we will have the forms and a notary available. Just bring a photo id and we will take care of the rest! After this training you will have a better idea of what volunteer role suits you!
Our trainings don't require registration unless you attend the November 17th one. We are holding this training at the Plymouth Regional Tournament. We will provide lunch and you will have an opportunity to sit in on a judging session or referee at the robot table. Sign up for Nov. 17th Volunteer Training.
After attending a training session, we ask that you fill out your Season Availability. This helps us place you at a Regional Tournament that fits your schedule.
Every year our programs give over 3,500 MN kids a positive experience that opens the doors to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education and careers. This volunteer experience is unlike any other! Not only will you be inspired by today's youth, but you will join a community of like-minded adults and know you made a difference. We look forward to seeing you at one of our training events!
Thank you again,
Programs Manager - High Tech Kids
