*Changes for this year...please read*
For those returning coaches, we have some changes to announce. We had over 400 MN teams last year and we are on track to hit 10% growth this year, so we are adapting...
1. There will be NO divisions this year. We are the only State that had separate age groups and eliminating this will simplify many processes.
2. We are excited to offer a new tournament choice geared for rookie or late-starting teams. GO FIRST! will be sponsoring a MN Regional Tournament at the University of Minnesota in late February. As this is after our MN State Championship, this regional is for teams not interested in advancing onto State and those who want a longer, more relaxed build season. You may NOT participate in a Qualifying Tournament in addition to this tournament, your team must pick ONE.
3. We will NOT be requiring teams to create a Core Values Poster and we will NOT be requiring teams to bring a design statement. Some regional partners are doing this, we in Minnesota are NOT!
Regional Tournament Registration opens SEPT 16th!
To attend a Minnesota Regional Tournament you will register with High Tech Kids. Registration will open on our website around September 16th and is $60 per team. You must be nationally registered with FIRST to compete in tournaments. We are still working on tournament sites and dates, but here is our TENTATIVE schedule.
