2010 Upgrade Archives New Calendar Icon Anywhere
in your Databank where you see a date prompt (with the exception of
bulk data entry templates) now displays a calendar icon, which will
auto-fill a date when you click on it. The calendar icon also will show
up on your online forms.Change to Contact Type/Contact By Dropdown The option lists for Contact By and Contact type have been re-ordered, so that the values that clients have entered show up first (in alphabetical order) and values generated by the Databank show up below in their own list.
New Feature on Selection -> View A new feature has been added to the Selection -> View screen of your Databank. There is now a column called "Go To..." with a drop down for each member that allows you to jump to various table inside their record.
New LYBNT Report Clients with the Fundraising Moduile will see a new report under the Report Menu that allows you to see donors who gave last year but not this year.
Fourth Installment of User Interface Updates The fourth installment, released October 16, 2010, mostly applies to the Selection menu (with the exception of PowerMail, which will be part of the next round of updates). Visit our support center for details.
Support Request Form Change When filling out a support request form, if you already have an profile created at our Support Center containing a ohone number, the request form will pull your phone number from your support center profile to shorten the time it takes the fill out the form.
Social Marketing Products thedatabank is offering three new ways to build your support base and raise even more money for your cause. A mobile app for Android and iPhone (in partnership with Mobile Roots), a Fundraising Sticker, and Personal Fundraising tools to setup personalized pages for either an event or pledge campaign (in partnership with Blue Sky Collaborative). Enter Notes on Meeting Report You can now add Meeting notes to your Meeting roster report. Previously notes were display only. This new field on a meeting roster has some limitations for input, so for full functionality you will still want to enter notes on the Edit Meeting Registration page.
PowerMail Email Summary Report Now Live There is a new email summary report for clients who have the e-Marketing Module. The email summary report allows you to compile data for sent emails based on date sent, sender, subject, folder, etc. You will notice a new sub-menu under Selection -> PowerMail and also a new summary link from any of the PowerMail pages.
New Advocacy Manual Under the Help Menu in your Databank, you'll find a newly updated Advocacy manual. This manual covers thedatabank's action alert system. For more information on the Advocacy Module, click here.
Third Round of User Interface Changes Launched This latest round of user interface updates primarily affects the Edit Member and Member record pages, and any tables linked within a Member record (contact, relationships, custom tables, etc.) Click here to learn more about the new changes.

Databank Interface Changes Coming on March 14th On March 14, 2010, we will be launching the second installment of interface updates to The Databank. Updates will be visible on the Welcome, Search, Search Result, and Saved Search pages. See descriptions and screen shots on our support center.
Hours Reporting Added to Meetings Roster A new checkbox has been added to the Meetings Roster set up page that allows hours/credits to be included in a Meetings report.
Password Search Now Available A password field is now available under Search -> Personal. This mainly applies to clients with the Advocacy Module or clients who have login areas of their website for members or supporters.
New Fonts Added to HTML Editor Clients with our e-Marketing or Advocacy Modules will notice new font choices added to the drop down list in the HTML Editor. All of the fonts are ones that are commonly used on the web, however, some of the fonts are Microsoft-based and some of the fonts are Apple-based. When using the Apple-based fonts, be sure to send yourself a test email on a PC to ensure that they display correctly.
Title/Suffix Fields Now Searchable The title and suffix fields in The Databank are now searchable on the Search -> Personal page. Searches for title will match criteria in the title1 and title2 fields and searches for suffix will match criteria in the suffix1 and suffix2 fields.
New Look for Databank Menu The old text menu has been replaced with a grey menu bar with icons representing Search, Help, and so forth. There is also a header indicating which page the user is viewing, and the amount of white space at the top of the screen has been condensed in order to show more information above the fold.
